The proposals will bring local shops, a public square, business space, community and leisure facilities along with new homes, including affordable housing.
Planning permission was granted for the redevelopment of the Asda site as a District Centre for the Isle of Dogs in 2014. Following extensive consultation with the local community, most significantly during Spring and Summer 2017, new plans are now being proposed for the redevelopment of the site.
Ahead of submitting a planning application, a public consultation displaying the revised plans for the community to view was held on Monday 8th July and Tuesday 9th July at Café Forever.
